Indie music fans, rejoice—Mac DeMarco has announced an expansive UK and European tour for summer 2026. The Canadian singer-songwriter will bring his signature laid-back charm and guitar-driven melodies to iconic venues across the continent, with a special focus on London, where he’ll perform three consecutive nights at the legendary O2 Academy Brixton.
A Triumphant Return to Brixton
Marking his first shows at the O2 Academy Brixton since 2019, Mac DeMarco’s three-night residency on June 10, 11, and 12 is undoubtedly one of the tour’s standout highlights. Known for his intimate connection with audiences and quirky stage antics, DeMarco’s return to the venue promises to be a memorable experience for both longtime fans and newcomers alike.
The residency follows his appearance at Barcelona’s Primavera Sound Festival on June 4, where he’ll kick off the European leg of the tour. From there, he’ll traverse over a dozen countries, performing in major cities such as Berlin, Prague, Warsaw, Vienna, Budapest, Milan, and Istanbul, before concluding with additional UK and Ireland dates in late August and September.
In Support of ‘Guitar’
The tour supports Mac DeMarco’s latest album, Guitar, released in August 2025 via Mac’s Record Label. The album, which features singles like “Home,” “Holy,” and “Phantom,” showcases his evolution as an artist while staying true to the lo-fi, introspective sound that has earned him a cult following. Guitar marks his first full-length studio release since 2023’s Five Easy Hot Dogs and the sprawling 199-track compilation One Wayne G.
DeMarco’s upcoming shows are expected to feature tracks from Guitar alongside fan favorites from his extensive catalog, including hits from albums like Salad Days and This Old Dog. His live performances are renowned for their relaxed vibe, humorous banter, and unexpected surprises, making each concert a unique experience.
