Sónar has unveiled the complete lineup for its 2026 edition, adding 65 new names to the previously announced first wave and confirming the full stage-by-stage programme for its 33rd edition. The festival will take place from 18 to 20 June 2026 at Fira Barcelona Gran Via, operating entirely within a single venue format for the first time in its history.
With more than 100 performances across three continuous days, Sónar 2026 marks the first full-scale edition under new leadership, following last year’s change in direction. Organisers describe the final programme as a panoramic view of contemporary electronic culture: from hardware jam sessions and queer takeovers to rave pioneers, Latin club mutations, UK bass innovations, audiovisual stadium shows and AI-driven live performances.
SonarVillage: Non-stop open-air programming
The newly expanded SonarVillage by Estrella Damm, now the festival’s central outdoor stage, will run continuously throughout all three days and nights.
Among the headline additions is SBTRKT, presenting new material from his upcoming album. Gospel-funk ensemble Arp Frique & The Perpetual Singers bring cosmic 70s grooves, while Barcelona veteran Undo debuts a full live band show.
They join previously announced acts including Kelis, Modeselektor and WhoMadeWho, alongside club specialists such as Carlita, MALUGI (b2b Benwal), Kilopatrah Jones, Lady Shaka b2b Tash LC, Maz, and afrobeats duo Mina & Bryte.
SonarClub: Stadium-scale energy
The main indoor arena receives upgraded sound, lighting and visual systems for 2026. Leading the new additions is The Prodigy, making their long-awaited Sónar debut on Saturday. They are joined by Andalusian producers Ático Corp. & R.I.P. Bestia, performing as UFC (U n F uturo C reíble).
Friday remains headlined by Skepta, with support from Manchester-based selector Zuri. Additional large-scale performances include Sara Landry, Dom Dolla, Charlotte de Witte, and Amelie Lens presenting AURA.
SonarCar: Speedy J’s STOOR three-day takeover
In a major conceptual shift, Speedy J presents a full three-day STOOR Live takeover, transforming SonarCar into an all-night hardware improvisation space. Each extended session features Speedy J collaborating with four artists in unscripted, six-hour performances. Full collaborator details will be announced shortly.
SonarHall: From concert venue to club floor
The reconfigured SonarHall will shift seamlessly between live concerts and late-night club programming.
Highlights include Daniel Avery performing with a full band, Reinier Zonneveld presenting R2 (a live AI collaboration), YHWH Nailgun, and UK club innovators Two Shell.
Takeovers include Bogotá’s queer collective BULTO and Ibiza institution Glitterbox.
SonarPark and SonarLab: Global club futures
SonarPark expands its outdoor footprint with Latin and trap mutations from TAYHANA, Miss Bashful, Metrika, and K-pop-adjacent duo DPR CREAM & DPR ARTIC.
Meanwhile, SonarLab focuses on rave heritage and bass evolution, with Goldie b2b Doc Scott, Addison Groove, Amaliah b2b Pangaea, FJAAK x Miss Kittin, and Wata Igarashi.
Sónar+D returns to central Barcelona
In parallel, Sónar+D relocates to Llotja de Mar, focusing on digital culture, AI and creative technologies. A two-day ticket is available for €25, while SonarPass+D holders retain included access.
