MIHOUDAI Osaka 2026 has unveiled its complete timetable for the festival's return on July 4, once again transforming Osaka's Shinsaibashi district into one of Japan's largest live music showcases. More than 150 artists will perform across 19 venues, including BIGCAT, JANUS, OSAKA MUSE, VARON, BEYOND, DROP, ANIMA, club vijon, Pangea, FANJ twice and SUNHALL, with concerts running continuously from early afternoon until late evening.
The programme reflects the diversity of Japan's independent scene, with a strong focus on indie rock, alternative rock, emo, melodic punk and post-hardcore. Among the day's highlights, BIGCAT will host performances by bokula., Arakezuri, Singer's High, reGretGirl, Maki and the paddles, while JANUS features yutori, the shes gone, Half time Old, Re:name, Dannie May and Gum-9. At OSAKA MUSE, audiences can catch EVE OF THE LAIN, osage, Bye-Bye-Hand no Hōteishiki, Ochunism, Broken my toybox and Persian, whereas VARON brings together grating hunny, DeNeel, anewhite, '97,Kids, Doona and Frisian. Other notable appearances include Organic Call at DROP, The Cheserasera at BEYOND, Cloudy and Laughing Hick at SUNHALL, THE JAPANESE PRIDE and kurage at ANIMA, and SLACK and sly cat girl at HOKAGE.
With a single ticket granting access to every venue via an exchangeable wristband, MIHOUDAI continues to offer one of Japan's best opportunities to discover both established and emerging bands in a single day. Tickets are priced at ¥5,500 (plus drink fee), while the festival's Nagoya edition follows on July 5.
