Sabadell is preparing for one of the biggest weekends of the year. The Festa Major de Sabadell 2026 will take place from September 4 to 7, filling the city with concerts, traditional culture, theatre, family activities and sports. Music will once again be one of the central elements of the programme, with the large concert area at Eix Macià joined by stages at Plaça de Sant Roc, Plaça del Vallès, Ca l’Estruch and Plaça de la Creu Alta.

The main programme starts on Friday, September 4, with a particularly varied opening night. Eix Macià will begin at 9 pm with local CMS project Substratum, before La La Love You take the stage at 10.30 pm. The Madrid band have become one of the most popular names in contemporary Spanish indie-pop, and their appearance will be followed at 12.30 am by the Va Parir Tour, featuring Carles Pérez, Dídac Tomàs, Andreu Presas and Gran Germán.

Friday also offers several alternatives away from Eix Macià. Roger Padrós will perform at Plaça de Sant Roc at 10.30 pm, while Alosa play at Ca l’Estruch, followed by an electronic session with Arnald B2B, Vilalta and Uriz. Plaça del Vallès will host The Alan Parsons Project at 10 pm in an event organised by the city council together with Sabadell’s Municipal Music School and Professional Conservatory.

Saturday, September 5 brings two of the biggest mainstream names of the weekend to Eix Macià. After CMS act MAI5 at 9 pm, Nil Moliner performs at 10.30 pm before Macaco takes over at 12.30 am. DJ Panda will continue the party from 2 am. Meanwhile, Ca l’Estruch will present Ven’nus and Lucien, and Plaça de Sant Roc will host the Banda de Música de Sabadell with its Banda Sonora Catalana concert.

One of the Festa Major’s most interesting features is the space given to Sabadell’s own scene. SAM Fest – Sabadell Acció Musical will occupy Plaça de la Creu Alta throughout the weekend, focusing largely on emerging artists with links to the city. Friday’s programme includes Flamsteed, Tornaviss, Lladruc, Descontrol, Miratges and Disaster Jacks, while further local and emerging acts continue across Saturday and Sunday. On Sunday alone, the SAM Fest programme includes Berta Rose, Retal, Black Star Hits, SoulGarden and Los Surfing Robbers.

Sunday, September 6 brings another major double bill to Eix Macià. CMS band Roots Habits open at 9 pm, followed by the exuberant Catalan fusion of Doctor Prats at 10.30 pm and urban group 31 FAM at 12.30 am. MON DJ will close the night from 2 am.

The Sunday programme also shows the breadth of the Festa Major’s musical offer. The Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès will present Heroïnes del Cinema at Ca l’Estruch, Cinc Swingcats perform at Plaça del Gas, DKantaka & guests take over Plaça de Sant Roc and Mariners de Riera bring traditional havaneres to Plaça del Vallès. EstruchBar will meanwhile host an Electronic Night Session.

The festival winds down on Monday, September 7, but not before a final round of live music. Coral Talia, Coral Estrella Daurada and Cantaires de Can Feu will perform at Plaça de Sant Roc, while Eix Macià will host the final large-scale concert of the programme at 10.30 pm with Hotel Cochambre, one of Catalonia’s best-known party and cover bands.

With major pop, rock and urban names sharing the programme with local groups, electronic collectives, orchestras, swing and traditional music, the Festa Major de Sabadell 2026 once again turns the whole city into a network of stages rather than concentrating the celebration in a single venue. The official programme was closed on July 27, with any later changes to be published by the organisers.

Eix Macià will host four nights of music with La La Love You, Nil Moliner, Macaco, Doctor Prats, 31 FAM and Hotel Cochambre.
