Girona is preparing for another edition of Fires de Sant Narcís, the city's annual festival, which will take place from October 23 to November 1, 2026. Live music will once again play a central role, with a programme spanning Catalan pop, indie rock, punk, hip-hop, electronic music, jazz and traditional sounds. The main concerts will be concentrated at La Copa, in the Devesa area, and Parc del Migdia, alongside performances at venues and public spaces throughout the city.
This year's line-up includes Miki Núñez, Queralt Lahoz, León Benavente, Els Amics de les Arts, Joan Miquel Oliver, El Petit de Cal Eril, 31 FAM, Non Servium, CRIM, Mazoni, Malifeta and Teràpia de Shock. The programme is organised around themed evenings, with different musical styles taking over the city's principal outdoor stages throughout the festivities.
Miki Núñez opens the festivities, followed by Queralt Lahoz and Romàntic Dimoni
The celebrations begin on Friday, October 23, with the traditional opening proclamation and a drone show at La Copa at 10 pm, followed by the first major concert of the festival. Miki Núñez will headline the opening night, sharing the programme with Banda Neón and DJ Tramma from 10:30 pm. Elsewhere, Soroll Imminent and The Foolers Rock 'n Roll Covers Band will perform at Ateneu 24 de Juny.
On Saturday, October 24, Queralt Lahoz takes centre stage at La Copa, bringing her distinctive combination of flamenco influences, soul and contemporary urban music to Girona. Emé and Serena complete the evening's bill, while Parc del Migdia hosts an electronic programme featuring Kenny Larkin, Enai, Ariza and Bass Ball. The day also includes performances by Ramonets, Girona Banda Band, Sant Rocs and electronic music students from EUMES.
Sunday, October 25, moves towards more alternative territory, with Romàntic Dimoni, BigBlack Rhino and The Salsa Punk Orkestra appearing at La Copa from 6 pm. Their performances will bring together post-punk, funk, rock, hip-hop and heavier sounds, while Parc del Migdia hosts Catalunya Freestyle. Other events include La Masovera Barbuda, PD Carmans and performances by Orquestra Maravella.
León Benavente, Joan Miquel Oliver and Els Amics de les Arts lead the midweek programme
The festival resumes its major concert programme on Wednesday, October 28, with two particularly attractive alternatives. At Parc del Migdia, Joan Miquel Oliver, known for his work with Antònia Font, will present material from Roïssos alongside Mazoni, beginning at 7:30 pm. Later that evening, La Copa will welcome Carmen 113, León Benavente and Ypnosi for a night of indie and alternative rock starting at 10:30 pm. The Auditori de Girona will also host Pink Martini & Storm Large.
On Thursday, October 29, the feast day of Sant Narcís, Els Amics de les Arts will headline one of the festival's most significant concerts. The Catalan pop group will premiere Encara som aquí, a song dedicated to Girona and inspired by the collapse of a human tower built by the Marrecs de Salt on the cathedral steps. Teràpia de Shock and El Diluvi will complete the La Copa programme, while Los Comino and Eli Rodriguez perform at Parc del Migdia. Traditional music will also feature prominently, with Terra Endins presenting havaneres on the cathedral steps.
Punk takes over La Copa before 31 FAM closes the main concert nights
Friday, October 30, will be the festival's biggest night for punk and hardcore. Non Servium, one of the best-known names in Spanish Oi! and street punk, will share La Copa with Italian outfit Bull Brigade and Tarragona punk rock band CRIM, with concerts beginning at 10:30 pm. At Parc del Migdia, the atmosphere will be considerably different, with El Petit de Cal Eril bringing his distinctive experimental folk-rock sound alongside Durruti t'estimo.
The final Saturday, October 31, will see 31 FAM headline La Copa, presenting material from their album R31. The Sabadell urban music collective will be joined by DJ Calvins and Malifeta, bringing the main late-night concert programme to a close with hip-hop, trap and electronic influences. Earlier that evening, Parc del Migdia will host Genni Knows and Natxo Tarrés & the Wireless, while the wider programme includes Reggae per Xics, Hartz, Les Anxovetes, Neus Mar and Orquestra Selvatana.
The festivities officially conclude on Sunday, November 1, with traditional activities, a gathering of giants and a final concert by Orquestra Maribel at La Copa at 5:30 pm, ahead of the closing fireworks. The day also includes performances by Música Antiga de Girona and Cor Maragall at the Auditori.
