Barcelona’s iconic Cruïlla Festival is set to return from July 9 to 12, 2025, marking its 15th anniversary with an unforgettable celebration of music, culture, and creativity. Hosted at the Parc del Fòrum, this year’s edition will feature a stellar lineup of internationally renowned artists alongside innovative initiatives that highlight the festival’s commitment to accessibility, sustainability, and artistic innovation.

A Stellar Lineup for Every Taste
Headlining the festival are some of today’s most celebrated names in music: Gracie Abrams , Alanis Morissette , Thirty Seconds to Mars , Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter , Leon Bridges , girl in red , Texas , Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals , St. Vincent , and Seu Jorge , among others. Local favorites Love of Lesbian will deliver two special concerts as part of the festival’s milestone celebration.

With five stages spread across the venue—the Estrella Damm , Occident , Vueling , Vallformosa , and Vichy Catalan stages—attendees can explore a wide range of musical styles, from indie rock and electronic beats to global sounds and urban rhythms. Newcomers and emerging talents will also shine through competitions and dedicated performance slots, ensuring a platform for fresh voices alongside legendary acts.

New Spaces and Creative Collaborations
In honor of its 15th anniversary, Cruïlla introduces several exciting innovations. Among them is the Cruïlla Dansa Bonpreu Esclat , a brand-new stage located by the sea, exclusively dedicated to dance. This space aims to highlight movement and rhythm as integral parts of the festival experience. Additionally, a fashion runway event will debut on July 9, spotlighting young designers from ESDI (Escola Superior de Disseny), further cementing Cruïlla’s reputation as a multidisciplinary cultural platform.

Art enthusiasts will find plenty to admire beyond the music. Curated by Claudia Costa of Poblenou Urban District, the festival will feature interactive light installations, murals, and urban art projects. Collaborations with local collectives such as Gargar Festival and Windows Art Circuit will bring large-scale murals and illuminated artworks to life, transforming the festival grounds into an open-air gallery.

Commitment to Accessibility and Sustainability
Cruïlla 2025 takes significant strides toward creating a more inclusive environment for all attendees. For the first time, the festival offers sensory backpacks equipped with vibrating systems, allowing individuals with hearing impairments to experience the music physically. Quiet zones have been designated for neurodivergent guests, and magnetic loop systems are installed at key stages to assist those with auditory challenges. These measures underscore Cruïlla’s dedication to making live events accessible to everyone.

Sustainability remains a core pillar of the festival’s ethos. Organizers are implementing strategies to reduce environmental impact, promote circular economy practices, and collaborate with local businesses and organizations. Initiatives include hiring staff from nearby neighborhoods, reducing waste through recycling programs, and encouraging eco-friendly transportation options.

A Festival Rooted in Community
Since its inception, Cruïlla has distinguished itself as one of Barcelona’s most beloved festivals, blending global appeal with a distinctly local identity. Its unique combination of music, comedy, visual arts, and social engagement reflects the city’s creative spirit and collaborative values.

Tickets for the four-day event remain available via the official website, with prices ranging from €58 for single-day passes to €165 for full-festival access. Visitors are encouraged to plan their travel using public transport, bike-sharing services, or carpooling options to minimize congestion around the Parc del Fòrum.

As Cruïlla prepares to welcome thousands of fans from around the world, it reaffirms its role not just as a music festival but as a catalyst for connection, expression, and positive change. Whether you’re drawn to the electrifying performances, immersive art displays, or forward-thinking initiatives, Cruïlla Festival 2025 promises an unforgettable journey through sound, sight, and soul.

From Love of Lesbian’s special double performance to the debut of the Cruïlla Dansa stage, this year’s festival blends music, art, and inclusivity like never before.
